The International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) Code contains authoritative text on all aspects of handling packaged dangerous goods and marine pollutants being shipped by sea. Mandatory January 1, 2012.

The two-volume Code is divided into seven parts:

• consignment procedures
